Around 7:30 PM Sunday night, without warning, TRENT released a flurry of promotional posts referring to a song titled "YOU."
Activity on his social media accounts have caused speculation he's planning for the release of a project soon. As the first official release on streaming platforms, we're sure to see this song everywhere for a good period of time for maximum exposure. Much of how TRENT operates his project release process is partly due to some legends coming out of his home town. Similar to how Kanye released 3 projects on the come up, we got in touch with TRENT to get some incite on how he does the same. When asked about his process of release TRENT stated," Typically I don't know if things are perfect until they're out to the public and in motion. I've often released singles to get a feel for the audience attracted to the project. It's a test almost like dipping your toe in the water. If I receive good feedback, I'm often more confident to drop the project but even if the feedback was completely negative, I'd often still take that chance. I firmly believe a lot of what I make people aren't ready for because it's too honest." The trends are similar to his favorite artists Lupe Fiasco, LUCKI, & the late, great Mac Miller. Regardless, fans are sure to be excited for a release after waiting nearly 4 months after his last single.
